What is La Casa?

La Casa is an innovative model in student housing that surrounds students with all the benefits and resources of on-campus living – plus the added advantage of an on-site Resource Center. The Resource Center provides a wide range of programs and services including support in navigating the complexities of college life, leadership development and academic support.

Students must qualify to live at La Casa, co-ed rooms and family housing is not available. To begin the application process follow the steps below.

Great news! The La Casa Student Housing Application due date has been extended and we will continue to accept applications until further notice. However, space is limited, and we do encourage you to send it in as early as you can.

Announcing the La Casa Student Housing Scholarship Fund

Individuals may qualify for housing assistance via our La Casa Student Housing Scholarship Fund. To be considered, individuals must submit an application. Space and assistance is limited, so we encourage students to submit an application today! Questions? Contact the Director of La Casa directly. 

Application Process
Steps to become part of the La Casa living and learning community:

1 - Get pre-qualified before sending the application; it will save you time and the application fee. To get prequalified answer the following questions:

Are you a recent high school graduate or undergraduate-level college student?

Are you in pursuit of your first bachelor’s degree?

Are you willing to live with a roommate?

Will you maintain a full-time college enrollment status during your residence at La Casa?

Are you interested in mentorship and internship opportunities?

If you answered yes to all these questions, you are pre-qualified!
Proceed to step 2:

2 - Download, complete and mail the La Casa Student Housing application

3 - Visit lacasastudenthousing.org to schedule an information session on the event calendar, not required

4 - Complete the La Casa Housing Agreement (Lease), once you have been selected to live at La Casa
