New Communities Program

The New Communities Program is a five-year effort working to promote new connections within 14 Chicago neighborhoods by supporting comprehensive community organizing and planning.  As the lead agency in Pilsen for the New Communities Program, TRP has convened over 15 area agencies to form the Pilsen Planning Committee, which has produced a comprehensive Quality of Life plan that focuses on housing, local economic development, family services, community image, and education.
