Health & Safety

The first of many victories of TRP’s organizing efforts was to improve the streets and sanitation in Pilsen.  Through the parishes, leaders organized over 300 people to challenge the Superintendent of Streets and Sanitation at a public meeting to clean the streets in Pilsen once a week.   Today, TRP is still working to improve the overall health and safety of the community.  Read on for information on our initiatives and programs around safety and health.
