New Homeowners Inspect the Progress of their Home
The Edwards Family tours their future home
When Resurrection Homes are built, a lot of thought goes into the functionality and use of space. As there are ways to make homes efficient, our contractors consider those details and implement them as part of creating healthy and environmentally friendly homes. Most of the time future homeowners are simply informed about the mechanics of their home after it is built or during the required inspection. However, The Resurrection Project, aims to create responsible and knowledgeable homeowners, goes the extra mile. Educated and responsible homeowners will maintain their house in top shape, adding value to the community as a whole.
Soon to be homeowners benefit from learning about the materials employed on the construction of their future home
As a courtesy to our clients, TRP and our contractor, Shelley Construction, has been offering families with a pre-drywall tour of their soon to be homes. As future TRP homeowners get one step closer to their dream, they are able to walk around the unit and literally see what is inside the walls, thus reassuring their investment. Last week the Edwards family was able to experience first hand our first pre-drywall tour. During those two hours, the contractor took them around the property and talked about the functionality of the materials employed, their efficiency and durability.
“I have to say that Shelley did an outstanding job explaining to the homeowners and me the construction of the home up to that point” shared Guacolda Reyes, TRP’s Deputy Director of Community Development. “The inspection took 2 hours but it was an excellent construction training that I got from our General contractor. Shelley spoke with knowledge, experience and passion”.
TRP and its contractor share the important mission of creating healthy communities, and the quality infrastructure imperative in development of such. As we continue to create responsible homeowners and well-built homes, we are providing the essential building blocks for prosperity and stability necessary to move families forward.
